After an eventful winter, the GTBL is ready for the upcoming 2020 senior AAA baseball season.

Sadly, the league said goodbye to the Martingrove Sox who moved to the Ontario Senior Baseball Association after a tough couple of seasons at Centennial Park. The league wishes the Sox best of luck in their new endeavour, and thank Scot Angus for his years of dedication running the team both on and off the field.

The Kendal Eagles were granted full member status into the GTBL, and are now a voting team in all league decisions. The 2019 champion Pickering Red Sox have a new home, and are now the Ajax Spartans. They will be playing out of the beautiful Sportsplex complex at Audley and Taunton Rd.

Teams will play a 26 game regular season, and four teams will qualify for the GTBL Championship weekend, to be held Aug 28-30.

There were no changes to the league executive, and minor changes to the constitution were all administration based.

Players looking for a team are encouraged to contact team managers by looking for their information on "Team" page.

Transaction article to be posted as we near the season, team and player bios to be updated over the next six weeks.
