As the spring season slowly approaches, the Greater Toronto Baseball League has completed it's yearly cycle of three off season meetings, made some small changes, and is ready to go for '23.

The league executive remains intact, Nolan Revin- President(12th year) Statistician/Website, Art Stoner- Commissioner,  Sal Stabile- Vice President, Doug Wilton- Treasurer, Dan Lehmkuhl- Secretary, Chris Teliatnik- Umpire in Chief/Scheduler, have all returned for another season. 

New for 2023 is a monetary prize awarded to the top two finishers of the regular season, $400 for first place and $200 for second. The league playoff tournament will now consist of all six teams, gone are the play in two out of three playoff series for this year. Winners of the 2023 GTBL Championship will also win $400, and the runners up $200. The "Ohtani rule" has been adopted by both Baseball Ontario and the GTBL, and is in play for league contests.
