A night after a quiet road loss at Stan Wadlow, the Ajax Spartans got right back into the win column on Tuesday night. A 4-3 road win in Newmarket was just the kind of rebound game the first place Spartans were looking for. A close affair all night long, the game's final out saw Newmarket base runner Len Wood gunned out at the plate by Ajax outfielder Eric Wilton, for what would have been the game's tying run.
