After leading 6-3 late, the Kendal Eagles survived a typical wild one at Talbot Park on Thursday night, narrowly escaping with a 7-6 road win.
The victory propelled the Eagles into second spot overall, opening the young season at 3-1. Newcomer Ryley Davenport went deep again for Kendal, his second of the year, while Leafs rookie Michael De Luca also homered in a losing effort, his first of 2022.
