Sitting in the GTBL basement, the Thornhill Reds got what they needed Wednesday, a 9-2 home win against the visiting Ajax Spartans. Six Thornhill pitchers worked ahead of the Vaughan tournament, while the Spartans used three arms heading into the same weekend. Five GTBL teams will take part over the weekend, with East York being the lone hold out.
